  • (40) Overview: Adopt an Educational Issue Research Project and Teach-in
    • Project page - Start proposals here.
    • Use your whiteboards or a piece of paper to visually map some topics/subtopics/subquestions related to your overall topic.
    • In your proposal, indicate which of these subtopics you would like to focus on.
  • (10) Break
  • (40) Research Seminar - Be prepared to share something valuable.
    • An article/blog/report/etc related to education that read in your news feed.
    • A question that you are puzzling over
    • An evernote trick or technique you think would be useful.
    • Something else you think is relevant to the class and really want to share.

  • (10) Break
  • Develop and share: Adopt and Issue Proposal
    • (50) Draft a proposal that includes the following headings:
      • What is issue?
      • Why is issue important?
        • Nationally?
        • In RI?
        • To you?
      • What sources do you anticipate being useful for your investigation?
      • What do you expect to find out?
    • (10) Share you proposal with a partner. Give each other feedback.
    • (20) Share your proposal with the class.
